Eric spent his first 14 years in the broaching industry learning the craft from a legend of broach engineering, Jim Fish of Total Design. While at Total Design, Eric designed machines and tooling systems for nearly every broach company in America and as a result his skills are well known and highly respected in the industry. In addition to designing broaching machines and tooling, Eric also participated in the design of CNC broach sharpening machines for a well known American manufacturer.

In tandem with the newest member of the BMS design team, his brother Andy, Eric is half of a "dynamic duo" of broaching machine designers and detailers whose speed and accuracy are destined to become legendary in their own right.

Eric's past experiences in designing all types of broaching machines and tooling systems have been instrumental in the continuing evolution of BMS's own machine and tooling designs. His fresh ideas have brought new energy to the BMS engineering team which has resulted machine, tooling and automation innovations that have kept BMS at the leading edge of broaching machine design.
