MICHAEL A MAIN

Prior to joining the BMS team, Michael proudly served our country in the Marine Corp. He began his career with BMS in 1988 as a general laborer and is now one of the company's top mechanics.

Michael specializes in machine mechanical systems and tooling set-ups. His duties include alignment and fitting of machine slides and ways as well as set up of cutting tools, fixtures and automation systems. Michael is also a highly skilled welder and fabricator and utilizes these talents to assist in fabricating components for hydraulic and electrical systems when required. Customers often comment on the high quality of the welds observed on machine brackets and guarding that Mike had created.

In addition to his other skills, Mike is an accomplished machinist, proficient in surface grinding, turning and milling. He is also cross-trained in basic hydraulics and troubleshooting of hydraulic components and systems. These skills combined with his vast experience with mechanical systems of all types of broaching machines, make him one of BMS's best, in-field, service technicians.

In his tenure with BMS, Mike has serviced and installed broaching machines throughout the world including, Brazil, India, China, and Mexico and he takes great pride in his ability to communicate with customer personnel at every level. Michael is a natural problem solver and enjoys the challenge of troubleshooting part quality issues in the field.

Mike takes great pride in his work. He shares the vision BMS management has for the company and is great contributor to its success.
