Michael has been with BMS since 2006 and is one of a trio of highly skilled draftsmen that design the most durable and maintenance friendly broaching machines and tooling systems in the world.
His experience, prior to his employment at BMS, in designing transfer lines, dials, EDM machines and gauging systems has brought innumerable new ideas to our design team. His "outside of the broaching box" thinking has been invaluable in BMS's development of automated broaching systems and special machines for unique broaching applications.
As a fixture designer, Michael has designed tooling utilizing "group technology principles" to reduce the number of changeover details required and minimize downtime, a great advantage to customers running numerous different part configurations on the same broaching system. Michael prides himself on working with BMS's customers to design machines and tooling that optimize ergonomics and simplify operator and maintenance procedures.
