Used Broaching Machines
BMS offers used broaching machines to suit any budget.
OPTION 1
Completely Remanufactured
Machines are transferred to BMS’s Novi, MI manufacturing facility and the following services are performed:
Basic Machine
- Completely disassemble machine
- Remachine machine ram(s)
- Remachine tables
- Regrind machine ways
- Regrind table ways
- Reassemble and refit all components to new machine specifications
Hydraulic System
- Rebuild main hydraulic pump
- Rebuild auxiliary pumps
- Main cylinder rods and table cylinder rod(s) reground and rechromed
- Hydraulic valves reconditioned or rebuilt
- New seals and gaskets installed
- All components reassembled and installed
- Hydraulic diagram provided
Electrical System
- Design and build panel to NFPA79 specifications utilizing Allen-Bradley* PLC controller
- Install operator station with HMI Allen-Bradley* brand.
- Electric motor disassembled and cleaned, new bearings installed
- All new wiring and conduit
- Wire 480 volts, 3 phase, 60 cycle
- Electrical diagram provided
*Alternative manufacturers are available
Lube System
- Provide and install Graco lubricating system
Coolant System
- Install new coolant pump
- Install piping to work area
General
- Painted customer’s choice of colors (single color, industrial enamel)
Warranty
The equipment and durable tooling quoted herein is warranted for one (1) year.
OPTION 2
Reconditioned
Machines are transferred to BMS’s Novi, MI manufacturing facility and the following services are performed:
Base Machine:
- Remove existing tooling, disassemble, clean and power wash machine
- Reconnect utilities (electrical and hydraulic)
- Cycle machine and test functionality of all systems
Slides and Ways:
- Inspect ways, gibs and wipers
- Adjust ways to minimize clearance, where practical
Cylinders:
- Replace cylinder seals and wipers
Hydraulic System:
- Remove tank cover and thoroughly clean reservoir
- Inspect hoses and connections and repair leaks as required
- Inspect lines for pinches and brakes and repair as required
- Inspect hydraulic pumps and rebuild or repair as required
- Inspect hydraulic valves and repair as required
- Replace outdated components with serviceable parts
Electrical System**:
- Thoroughly clean interior of main electrical panel and junction boxes
- Inspect wires and connections and repair as required
- Inspect conduit for pinches and brakes and repair as required
- Inspect electrical switches and repair as required
- Replace outdated components with serviceable parts
**New electrical controls can be quoted at customer request.
Coolant System:
- Inspect pump operation and repair as required
- Inspect coolant lines for rigidity, leaks and cracks and repair as required
- Install coolant line to fixture area
Lube System:
- Inspect drip cups and repair as required
Painting, tags, and labels:
- The machine will be painted with industrial enamel to Customer’s choice of colors (single color, industrial enamel).
- Appropriate tags and labels will be applied as required
Warranty:
- BMS will warranty the reconditioned machine for one (1) year from the time of shipment.
Delivery: 4-12 Weeks, Depending on machine type and size
OPTION 3
Cycled and Inspected
Machines are transferred to BMS’s Novi, MI manufacturing facility and the following services are performed:
- Clean hydraulic tank and fill with hydraulic fluid
- Connect electrical power and cycle machine
- Provide list of recommended repairs, if any, and quote as desired
Delivery: 2 Weeks (Longer if repairs are requested)
OPTION 4
As Is
Machines are sold as received and loaded onto your truck at our storage facility in Detroit.
As-Is machines come with a 30 day return privilege. If, within 30 days from the date of shipment, you determine that the machine does not meet your needs or is not what you expected, return it, freight pre-paid, in the same condition as received, and we will refund your money in full.
Delivery: Immediate.
